Antequera Day Trip

We'll leave Granada and head west towards the nearby province of Malaga. Before reaching our destination, we'll see the Peña de Los Enamorados, a notable hill in Andalusia.

The first stop will be at the Archaeological Site of the Dolmens of Antequera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we will explore this significant megalithic site and learn about the prehistoric Neolithic society that inhabited these lands thousands of years ago.

Next, we will visit Antequera's historic centre, where the main monuments include the Alcazaba and the Santa María La Mayor Collegiate church, a Renaissance landmark. After touring the old town, some free time will be provided.

At the agreed time, we will proceed to the Torcal de Antequera, known for its karst rocky landscape and unique geological formations dating back to the Jurassic period. Following the visit to El Torcal, we will return to Granada.
