Caminito del Rey Day Trip
From the Plaza de las Descalzas in Granada, we'll travel to the province of Malaga to visit the Caminito del Rey, a breathtaking mountain route in Andalusia.
Inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII in 1921, the Caminito del Rey features a footbridge situated at 105 metres above the Desfiladero de Los Gaitanes. It reopened to the public in 2015 and is one of the most spectacular paths in southern Europe. As we walk along this path built on the rock, we'll experience its grandeur.
With explanations from an expert guide, we will enjoy incredible views of the surrounding landscapes and learn about the environmental significance of this area for local fauna and flora.
After completing the Caminito del Rey route, you'll have 30 minutes of free time to eat or drink. We will then return to Granada, carrying the views of the Guadalorce and its surroundings with us.
