Day Trip Details
We will pick you up at the agreed meeting point to begin our day trip to the Alpujarra Granadina, where Berber architecture merges with the green valleys of the Sierra Nevada's southern foothills.
The first stop will be at the Tablate Bridge, a historic construction marking the entrance to the region. We'll approach Lanjarón, famous for its waters, before reaching the Poqueira Ravine, home to Pampaneira, Bubión, and Capileira.
In Pampaneira, we will visit a traditional chocolate factory, learn about handmade looms, and explore the cobbled streets. Free time will be provided to browse local shops and see sights like the parish church of Santa Cruz and the washing places.
Next, we will stop at Pórtugos to visit the Fuente Agria and Fuente del Chorreón fountains, known for their reddish ferruginous waters.
In Trevélez, the highest village in the Alpujarra, you will have the chance to taste iconic local products.
Finally, we will reach Capileira for free time to explore, enjoy the architecture, and have lunch before returning to Granada, concluding the tour after approximately 10 hours.
