Get to know the oldest colonial city in the Americas on this guided tour through Granada, a town located along the shores of Nicaragua Lake.
Granada Walking Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Granada for a walking tour of the town. Boarding our transport vehicle, we'll venture into the heart of Granada and stroll along the shores of Nicaragua Lake. You will notice the aroma of local food from various street carts. Additionally, we'll admire the Town Cemetery, a significant site.
Next, we'll explore the Polvora Fort, a historical site from 1748 known for housing military troops and prisoners. You can see the rocks that comprise the fort's walls and learn about Nicaraguan history.
We will also visit the Maria Auxiliadora Church with its intricate stained glass windows. Following this, we will climb to the Tower of Mercy for panoramic views of the city, including sights of the Mombacho Volcano and the Great Lake of Nicaragua.
After 3 hours of exploring Granada, we will return you to your hotel to conclude the tour.
