Travel back in time to the age of the Roman Empire on our day trip to the Roman Villa of Salar. You'll visit this archaeological site in Granada and learn about this ancient residence from the 1st century.

Roman Villa of Salar Day Trip

At 11 am, we'll meet in the Plaza de las Descalzas in Granada. We'll board our minibus for a 45-minute drive to the village of Salar.

Upon arrival, we'll explore one of the most important Roman residences in the Iberian Peninsula. Highlights include the central courtyard, bedrooms, and dining room, with a focus on the well-preserved Roman mosaics and their significance.

After visiting the Roman Villa of Salar, we'll proceed to the Visitor Centre to learn more about its occupation from the 1st to the 6th centuries and its rediscovery in 2004.

You will have 2 hours of free time to explore the village of Salar and sample local cuisine.

We will return to the minibus and arrive back at the starting point by 4 pm.
