Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll depart from Plaza de Mariana Pineda in Granada towards the Sierra Nevada National Park, known for its beautiful mountainous areas in the Betic Cordilleras.

During the tour, we'll pass by sites including the Roman gold mine of Cenes de la Vega, the Camino de los Neveros, the banks of the river Genil, and the gorge of Los Cahorros del río Monachil. Upon reaching the National Park, which spans the provinces of Granada and Almeria, we'll take a tour of Sierra Nevada, combining walking and driving in an offroading vehicle. We will observe elevations like the Mulhacén and Veleta peaks and have the opportunity to see and touch snow at nearly 2,500 meters (8,202 feet). There is also a panoramic restaurant where we will stop for a drink while enjoying the view.

Throughout the route, we'll explore the flora and fauna of this natural environment, designated a Biosphere Reserve due to its biodiversity. The landscapes of Sierra Nevada have also featured in various TV shows, movies, and commercials.

At tour's end, enjoy about 2 hours of free time in the ski resort of Sierra Nevada for relaxation and panoramic views before returning to the meeting point in Granada, concluding this 7-hour tour.
