Snowshoe Hike in Sierra Nevada

At the scheduled time on the day of your excursion, meet in Calle Profesor Sainz Cantero in Granada and board a minibus for the journey to Hoya de la Mora in the Sierra Nevada. The drive lasts approximately 50 minutes.

Upon reaching over 8,200 feet (2,500 metres) above sea level, participants will receive all necessary equipment for the snowshoeing adventure. Snowshoeing was first practiced in the Arctic to traverse snow without sinking.

The hike will commence with a three-hour snowshoe trek through the Sierra Nevada, covering about 5 kilometers (3.1 miles). The natural landscape offers a captivating experience as you walk in the snow.

After the tour and enjoying the views of the Sierra Nevada peaks, participants will return to the starting point, concluding the adventure after a total duration of 4 to 5 hours. The return is scheduled around lunchtime, allowing time for a meal at a nearby restaurant.
