Snowshoe Hike in Sierra Nevada

At the scheduled time, we will meet in Calle Profesor Sainz Cantero in Granada and take a minibus to Hoya de la Mora, a location in the Sierra Nevada. The drive will take approximately 50 minutes.

Arriving at an elevation of over 8,200 feet (2,500 metres), we will be equipped with the necessary gear to start our snowshoeing experience. This method of winter travel has its origins in the Arctic, allowing movement across snow without sinking.

We will embark on a three-hour snowshoe hike through the Sierra Nevada, covering about 5 kilometers (3.1 miles). The stunning natural landscape is sure to impress all participants.

After the hike and enjoying the views of the Sierra Nevada peaks, we will return to the starting point, concluding the experience after a total duration of 4 to 5 hours. We expect to return around lunchtime for you to enjoy a meal at a nearby restaurant.
