History, tradition, legends, music, and more can be discovered on this tour of the Albaicin and Sacramonte, two emblematic neighborhoods in Granada.
Tour Details
At the designated time, we will meet in central Granada and proceed to the Albaicin, a significant area in the city. The Albaicin was inhabited by the first civilizations, including the Iberians, Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Visigoths, and Arabs, before being taken over by Christians. Walking through its cobblestoned streets, you will see why it was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984 alongside the Alhambra.
Next, we will visit the Sacromonte, renowned for its caves, gypsy culture, and flamenco. During the walk, we will highlight various cisterns, Mudejar churches, and viewpoints. We will stop at the Mirador de San Nicolás viewpoint, offering views of the Alhambra and its significant structures.
After a 2-hour exploration, the tour will conclude.
