Plettenberg Bay Sea Lion Tour

At your selected time, we'll meet at Central Beach and board a boat to cruise the waters of Plettenberg Bay in search of sea lions. The adventure begins as we sail along the coast of South Africa, appreciating the rugged scenery of the bay. This ecosystem is home not only to sea lions but also potentially dolphins, white sharks, and seabirds.

We will reach the vicinity of the Robberg Peninsula, which hosts a large colony of Cape sea lions. Here, information about this species, known for being calm and friendly in the water, will be shared. It is common to see them swimming alongside divers.

During this tour, participants will witness how sea lions interact and play on land and in the sea—a true spectacle of nature. After an hour and a half, the sea lion watching activity will conclude with our return to Plettenberg Bay.
