Plettenberg Bay Sea Lion Tour

In this sea lion watching activity in Plettenberg Bay, you'll sail along the Robberg Peninsula to observe these animals in their natural habitat. At your selected time, we will meet at Central Beach and board a boat to cruise the waters of Plettenberg Bay in search of sea lions.

Once on the boat, we'll sail along the coast of South Africa, enjoying the scenery of the bay. This ecosystem is home to sea lions, and we may also see dolphins, white sharks, and seabirds.

We will reach the Robberg Peninsula, which hosts a large colony of Cape sea lions. Here, we will provide information about this species, known for being calm and friendly in the water. It is common to see them swimming alongside divers.

You will have the opportunity to see how they interact and play both on land and in the sea. After an hour and a half, the sea lion watching activity will conclude with our return to Plettenberg Bay.
