The Blue Lagoon is a renowned spa located on a plain of solid lava, fed by mineral-rich groundwater. The water passes through volcanic vents to reach the surface and is utilized for geothermal energy generation. At a constant temperature of around 40 degrees Celsius, the turquoise waters attract both locals and tourists, making it one of Iceland's notable attractions.

This ticket provides access to the facilities, including swimming pools with waterfalls and pressure jets, saunas, and hammams. There are separate areas designated for men and women.

Opening Hours

The Blue Lagoon operates daily from 8 am to 10 pm, with the following special hours:

June 1 to August 20: 7 am to midnightAugust 21 to May 31: 8 am to 10 pmDecember 24: 8 am to 4 pmDecember 31: 8 am to 6 pm

Guests must exit the water 30 minutes prior to closing time.
