At the selected time, we'll meet at the entrance of Gropparello Castle, the starting point of a nature trail leading to the Vezzeno Gorge, formed by the Vezzeno stream.

We'll walk along ancient patrol paths from the castle walls to the cliff bottom, where the Vezzeno stream flows. The guide will share details about the unique territory, characterized by the dark mass of ophiolite.

In this area, we will visit the Museo della Rosa Nascente (Museum of the Rising Rose), which features 17 rose gardens. This part of the tour will explore the connection between local flora species, including white privets, maritime pines, and imperial maples.

Next, we'll proceed to the Limonaia, home to the Sala dei Fossili (Fossil Room), showcasing fossilized remains of animals and plants from the Upper Jurassic period.

After an hour and a half of exploring, we'll conclude our guided tour of the Vezzeno Gorge and say goodbye to our guide.
