At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the MUSA (Museum of the Arts of the University of Guadalajara) to begin our free tour of the Colonia Americana neighbourhood. At this spot, we'll admire the muralist José Clemente Orozco's first work in the city.
Next, we'll head to the Templo Expiatorio del Santísimo Sacramento, a Neo-Gothic church. Afterwards, we'll stroll through Colonia Americana, observing early 20th-century houses and designs by the architect Luis Barragán, learning about the history behind these buildings.
We'll also explore Chapultepec Avenue, known for its nightlife and culture, which serves as the entertainment centre of Guadalajara, featuring numerous bars, restaurants, and art galleries. You'll discover why it is popular among locals and tourists.
