Tour Details

We will meet at the designated time in front of the MUSA (Museum of the Arts of the University of Guadalajara) to begin our free tour of the Colonia Americana neighborhood. Here, we will admire muralist José Clemente Orozco's first work in the city.

Next, we will visit the Templo Expiatorio del Santísimo Sacramento, a Neo-Gothic church. Then we will stroll through Colonia Americana, observing the early 20th-century houses and some designs by architect Luis Barragán.

We will also explore Chapultepec Avenue, known for its nightlife and culture, which is the entertainment center of Guadalajara with various bars, restaurants, and art galleries.

Finally, after almost 2 hours, the free tour will conclude at Casa Itesco Clavigero, an architectural gem.
