Guachimontones + Tequila Day Trip

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Guadalajara and head to Guachimontones, where we'll arrive after a 1.5-hour drive.

As we arrive, we'll enter the world of the Guachimontones. This archaeological site dates back to pre-Columbian times in Mexico. We'll admire the circular pyramids and share stories surrounding this site. We'll also view the ball games, terraces, and buildings that comprise the complex.

Next, we'll head to the town of Tequila, known for its liquor. Here, we visit a local distillery and learn about the tequila-making process, from agave planting to distillation, along with exclusive tastings.

In Tequila, you'll have 2 hours of free time for lunch and to explore handicraft stores. Afterwards, we'll proceed with a stroll through the picturesque streets of the town.

Finally, we'll return to Guadalajara to drop you off at your hotel, 8 hours after departure.
