Hello to all art enthusiasts! At the designated time, our meeting point will be Avenida Chapultepec where we will commence our exploration of the city’s renowned murals, offering a unique lens through which to understand the rich history of the Jalisco capital.
Initially, our path will take us to the vibrant, hipster district of Guadalajara, where we will visit the exquisite Templo Expiatorio del Santísimo Sacramento, a standout architectural gem in the city.
Are you familiar with the name José Clemente Orozco? By the end of our journey, you'll be well-acquainted with his impact! The murals created by this artist are among the great cultural treasures of Guadalajara, serving as visual narratives of the city’s history. To delve deeper, we will explore notable sites such as the Cruz de Plazas, the majestic Cathedral, and the historic Teatro Degollado.
Our final stop will be the Museo Cabañas, home to one of the most significant artworks in Jalisco, titled Hombre de Fuego (Man of Fire). Prepare to be amazed!
After an engaging three to four hours of strolling through the city, we will conclude our mural exploration back at our original meeting spot.
