On this tour of Guadalajara, we'll discover the history of one of the oldest cities in Mexico and see its main monuments. Plus, we'll also visit the colonial town of Tlaquepaque!

Guadalajara & Tlaquepaque Tour

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and begin a panoramic tour of Guadalajara, visiting emblematic points of the capital of Jalisco.

First, we'll stop at the La Minerva roundabout, featuring a sculpture in honor of the Roman goddess Minerva, a city symbol. Nearby, we will see the Arcos de Guadalajara, ancient access gates to the capital.

We'll continue to Avenida de Chapultepec, the main street of Guadalajara, where we'll find remains of an ancient aqueduct as we proceed to Calle Libertad, known for its 19th-century architecture.

Next, we'll visit the Expiatory Temple of the Blessed Sacrament, Mexico's key Gothic work. A stroll through the historic center will include the Metropolitan Cathedral, Santos Degollado Theater, Cabañas Cultural Institute, and Plaza Liberación.

We'll then travel to Tlaquepaque, where you'll have 1.5 hours of free time for lunch and to admire the town's architecture, including the 17th-century Church of San Pedro and local handicraft stores.

Before returning to Guadalajara, we'll stop at a traditional sweets store for local delicacies. We will conclude the excursion with a drop-off at your hotel in Guadalajara 7-8 hours after the initial pickup.

This tour includes pickup from hotels in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara. If your accommodation is outside this area, please meet us on Avenida de Mariano Otero at the indicated time.
