Guadalajara & Tlaquepaque Tour
We will pick you up at your hotel and begin a panoramic tour of Guadalajara. Our first stop will be at the La Minerva roundabout, which features a sculpture of the Roman goddess Minerva, a city symbol. Nearby, we will view the Arcos de Guadalajara, the ancient access gates to the city.
We will continue to Avenida de Chapultepec, where we can see the remains of an ancient aqueduct before moving to Calle Libertad, known for its 19th-century architecture. Next, we will visit the Expiatory Temple of the Blessed Sacrament, the most significant Gothic-style structure in Mexico, and stroll through the historic center, viewing the Metropolitan Cathedral, Santos Degollado Theater, Cabañas Cultural Institute, and Plaza Liberación.
We will then head to Tlaquepaque, where you will have 1.5 hours of free time to have lunch and explore the town's cobblestone streets and colonial architecture. You may visit the 17th-century Church of San Pedro or explore local handicraft stores.
Before returning to Guadalajara, we will stop at a traditional sweets store to taste local delicacies. The excursion will conclude with your drop-off at your hotel in Guadalajara approximately 7-8 hours after pickup.
