On this tour of Guadalajara, we'll discover the history of one of the oldest cities in Mexico and see its main monuments, as well as visit the colonial town of Tlaquepaque.

Guadalajara & Tlaquepaque Tour

At the indicated time, pickup will be at your hotel for a panoramic tour of Guadalajara, visiting key points in the capital of Jalisco.

The first stop will be at the La Minerva roundabout, a symbol of the city, followed by a visit to the Arcos de Guadalajara, the ancient access gates. We will continue to Avenida de Chapultepec, where we'll see the remains of an ancient aqueduct and proceed to Calle Libertad, showcasing 19th-century architecture.

Next, we'll visit the Expiatory Temple of the Blessed Sacrament, Mexico's most significant Gothic-style work, and stroll through the historical center, viewing the Metropolitan Cathedral, Santos Degollado Theater, Cabañas Cultural Institute, and Plaza Liberación.

We will then travel to Tlaquepaque, where you will have 1.5 hours of free time for lunch and to explore the cobblestone streets and colonial architecture. You may visit the Church of San Pedro or browse handicraft stores.

Before returning to Guadalajara, there will be a stop at a traditional sweets store for tasting local delicacies. The excursion concludes with a drop-off at your hotel in Guadalajara 7-8 hours after pickup.
