Tour to Tequila

At the agreed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Guadalajara and head to Tequila. After an hour's drive, we'll reach this town, the birthplace of tequila.

First, we'll explore the agave fields that surround Tequila and learn about the cultivation and harvesting of this plant. We will also see the Tequila volcano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Next, we'll visit a tequila distillery to learn about the history of tequila and the production stages, from harvesting to aging in oak barrels. The tour concludes with a tequila tasting.

Afterwards, we will visit the town of Tequila, where you'll have free time for lunch in local restaurants or markets, allowing you to experience the local gastronomy.

Finally, we'll return to Guadalajara, arriving between 5 pm and 6 pm.

You can opt to visit the Jose Cuervo distillery (La Rojeña) instead of the other distillery. Selecting this option will reduce your free time in Tequila.
