Guadix Caves Train Tour
This train tour starts from Plaza de la Catedral. Onboard the urban train, travelers will explore the main attractions of this town in the Sierra de Granada, which includes Roman, Arab, and Christian remains. Recorded commentaries in English will provide insights into each monument.
From the old town of Guadix, the train will navigate cobbled streets, passing by sites such as the Roman Theatre, the church of San Miguel, the church of Santo Domingo, and the church of La Magdalena. The train will also pass the Cathedral of the Annunciation, notable for its Renaissance architecture.
To explore Guadix's Nazarite past, the train will take you around the Alcazaba, the Arab wall, the old alcaicería, and the Jewish quarter. Additionally, you will learn about the history of the Cascamorras as you pass by the monument commemorating this festival, recognized as Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

The train departs daily, every 40 minutes from 10:40 am to 12:40 pm from the Plaza de la Catedral.
Guadix caves
The tourist train stops for 45 minutes in the Barrio de las Cuevas, the most famous area of the town.
