On this tour of Porto Alegre, we will explore the main historical and cultural attractions of the city in one day, concluding with a sunset at Cais Embarcadero.

Best of Porto Alegre Tour

Your pickup will be at 9:30 am from your hotel in Porto Alegre, where we will start our journey combining walking tours and minibus routes.

The tour begins in the Moinhos de Vento neighborhood, home to Dmae Park, known for its aesthetic appeal reminiscent of the Palace of Versailles. Enjoy a stroll through its gardens.

Next, we will explore Cidade Baixa, renowned for its bars and youthful bohemian atmosphere, followed by a visit to Farroupilha Park (Parque da Redenção), a popular local gathering spot for socializing over mate.

An hour and a half will be allotted for lunch.

After lunch, we will visit the historic center of Porto Alegre. The tour includes stops at the public market, municipal library, Plaza Alfândega, Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana, São Pedro Theatre, and we will view the Cathedral and Palacio Piratini.

The tour concludes at Cais Embarcadero for a picturesque sunset, finishing at 7 pm with a return to your hotel.
