On this private tour of the Mineral de Pozos, we'll learn about the history of the gold and silver farms that made this Magic Town famous. We'll see the ruins of colonial estate and old smelting ovens.

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Guanajuato and make our way by minibus to Mineral de Pozos.

After 2 hours of travelling on the highway, we'll arrive at our destination. We'll visit the Santa Brígida mine, where 18th-century silver-smelting ovens were built by the Jesuit order.

Next, we'll explore the Cinco Señores mines, observing old tunnels and ruins of a colonial estate that was located beside one of these gold and silver farms.

We'll then examine the former El Triángulo estate, notable for being owned by Mexican president Porfirio Díaz, and featuring a cactus garden.

Near the historical centre, we'll find the old school of Mineral de Pozos, which currently hosts an exhibition about the town's history and a collection of contemporary Mexican art.

You'll also have some free time to grab something to eat, and after 9 hours together, the tour will conclude back at the hotels in Guanajuato.
