On this wine tour through Guanajuato, we'll discover the great winemaking tradition of this Mexican state and enjoy a selected wine tasting.
Wine Tour of Guanajuato
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Guanajuato and drive to the vineyards of the Cuna de Tierra winery. The minibus ride will take about an hour. You will learn the secrets of the fine wine of the Bajio region of Mexico.
The Cuna de Tierra winery spans more than 30 hectares and produces 6 types of red wine and 1 white wine. Upon arrival, we will take a guided tour of the winery facilities, designed by architects Ignacio Urquiza Seoane and Bernardo Quinzaños Oria.
Next, we’ll visit the Torre de Tierra viewpoint to appreciate the vineyards and olive trees, followed by a tour of the production area and the underground cellar.
Finally, we will enjoy a tasting of 3 wines, guided by an expert sommelier, paired with regional cheeses, cold meats, bread, and honey.
After the tasting, we will return to your hotel in Guanajuato, arriving 4.5 hours after the initial pickup.
