Private Guangzhou History Tour

At 9 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the Huangpu old port, significant for Guangzhou's status as a major trading city. We will visit Huangpu's history museum to learn about the port’s role in the ancient Silk Road and the Opium trade, and also visit Pak Tai Temple, known for its large incense sticks.

Next, we will head to Lychee Bay to explore its restored rivers and lakes. We will walk along the bridges, stopping at the Longjing Bridge to view the Wen Tower, built during the Qing Dynasty.

Then, we will walk along the Beijing Road Ancient Avenue, one of the oldest commercial areas, followed by a lunch in a local restaurant to experience the renowned Cantonese cuisine (meal not included).

After lunch, we will explore Yuexiu Park, featuring lakes, museums, and the famous Legend of the Five Goats statue.

We will conclude our tour at the General Sun Yat-sen Memorial Museum, commemorating the founder of the first Chinese Republic, before returning you to your hotel at around 5 pm.
