Private Guangzhou History Tour

At 9 am, pickup from your hotel will occur, followed by a drive to Huangpu old port, a significant trading hub in China.

In Huangpu, a visit to its history museum will provide insights into the port’s role in the ancient Silk Road and the Opium trade. The visit includes Pak Tai Temple, known for its large incense sticks.

Next, we will head to Lychee Bay, an area comprising rivers and lakes flowing into the Pearl River. After its restoration in 2010, we will walk along several bridges, stopping at the Longjing Bridge (57 meters), with views of the Wen Tower from the Qing Dynasty.

Afterward, we will walk along the Beijing Road Ancient Avenue, approximately 1,500 meters in length. We will stop for lunch at a local restaurant to sample Cantonese cuisine (meal not included).

Post-lunch, we will explore the vast Yuexiu Park, spanning 86 hectares with lakes, museums, and the well-known Legend of the Five Goats statue.

The tour concludes with a visit to the General Sun Yat-sen Memorial Museum, honoring the founder of the first Chinese Republic. We will stroll through its gardens and learn more about Sun Yat-sen by his statue before returning to your hotel around 5 pm.
