At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Luís de Camões Square to begin our journey to Belmonte. Ready?

After approximately 30 minutes, we'll arrive at our destination and experience the medieval character of this Portuguese town, historically home to a large Jewish community. Our first stop will be the Centum Cellas Tower, known for its myths and legends regarding the town's origin.

Next, we will visit the Museum of Discoveries, which features an interactive room detailing how modern Portugal emerged. Following this, we will go to the Olive Oil Museum to learn about the significance of olive oil in the region.

We will then pass by Belmonte Castle before reaching the Zêzere Ecomuseum, which covers the history of the Zêzere River from source to mouth.

Lastly, we will visit Santiago Church and the Cabrais Pantheon, both parts of a National Monument, showcasing a blend of Gothic and Romanesque architecture.

Finally, we will conclude our tour and say our goodbyes at the starting point in Guarda after approximately 3 to 4 hours together.
