Cave Painting Hike in the Côa Valley

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Praça Luís de Camões to start our hiking adventure through the petroglyphs of the Coa Valley. We'll first head to the banks of the Côa River, where we'll walk along the trails that include one of the largest open-air art galleries in the world with over a thousand cave paintings.

This archaeological site has been a World Heritage Site since 1998. During the tour, you can see drawings of animals such as horses,bovids , and human figures, dating back to the Palaeolithic period.

Finally, we'll conclude the tour at the starting point, approximately 4-5 hours after the start of the activity.
