Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Praça Luís de Camões to start this kayak tour on the river Côa. We will first go to the Canada do Inferno area, where we'll take the kayaks and receive a brief explanation about how to kayak correctly and safely.

With the theory internalized, we'll start kayaking through the heart of the Côa Valley, an area belonging to the National Ecological Reserve. During the route, we'll enjoy the green landscapes that surround us and, if the weather conditions are favorable, we'll see some birds such as griffon vultures, black storks, or Egyptian vultures.

Afterwards, we'll make a brief stop on the banks of the Côa River, specifically in the area of the Fariseu archaeological site, to refuel with picnic-style appetizers of typical products. Finally, we'll say goodbye at the starting point 5 to 6 hours after the start of the activity.
