Description

At the indicated time we'll meet at Praça Luís de Camões to start this kayak tour on the river Côa.

We'll first go to the Canada do Inferno area, where we'll take the kayaks and receive a brief explanation about how to kayak correctly and safely.

With the theory internalised, we'll start kayaking through the heart of the Côa Valley, an area belonging to the National Ecological Reserve.

During the route, we'll enjoy the green landscapes that surround us and, if the weather conditions are favourable, we'll see some birds such as griffon vultures, black storks or Egyptian vultures.

Afterwards, we'll make a brief stop on the banks of the Côa River, specifically in the area of the Fariseu archaeological site, to refuel with picnic-style appetisers of typical products.

Finally, we'll say goodbye at the starting point 5 to 6 hours after the start of the activity.
