Meet us at Praça Luís de Camões Square to start our hiking adventure into Covão dos Conchos. We'll head to Lagoa Comprida, a reservoir in the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, which is one of Portugal's largest mountain ranges.
From there, we'll start our foot route of approximately 4.3 kilometers (2.6 miles) to reach Covão dos Conchos. We'll explore the area's hidden features, where water cascades daily.
Finally, we'll return to the meeting point and conclude our hike between 4 to 5 hours later.
