Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Praça Luís de Camões to begin our tour of the medieval towns of the district of Guarda.

We'll first visit Sabugal, known for its castles and hiking routes along the Côa River. Then, we will discover Alfaiates and its cobblestone streets, where it feels as if time has stopped.

The tour continues as we learn about the history of Vila do Touro and Vilar Maior before arriving at Sortelha, which retains its medieval architecture with granite stone houses, walls, and an imposing castle.

We will conclude the tour back at the meeting point.
