Guatapé Reservoir Private Boat Ride

The tour starts at Parque Principal de Guatapé. After learning about the history of the Guatapé Reservoir, we board a boat to Fantasy Island. The area is known for its farms and stunning nature. Many famous personalities own land in this part of Antioquia. We then sail to El Peñol and walk through El Morro trail. Our next stop is the Old Peñol House-Museum, showcasing the history of the flooded town. The house is over 200 years old and was once home to Demetrio Galeano Jácome, a renowned local doctor. The tour concludes with a taste of local gastronomy, featuring an empanada or traditional arepa. The journey ends back at the Guatapé Reservoir dock after about an hour and a half.
