La Peña Caverns Excursion

We'll meet at the designated time on Calle 32 in Guatapé. From there, we'll travel to the caverns of La Peña, located just half an hour away.

Upon arrival at the entrance, we'll put on our helmets and head inside these caves located 100 meters (328 feet) deep. In this set of underground galleries, we'll discover the nature characteristic of this area of the Colombian department of Antioquia.

We'll go on a 90-minute tour through the caves, learning about their geological origins and admiring different types of rocks and minerals that form part of the rocky walls of the galleries.

While exploring, we'll also learn about some of the legends about the caves, believed to have been known to the Indigenous Peoples native to this area of South America.

After visiting the caves, we'll return to Guatapé, with arrival at the meeting point scheduled for four hours after pickup.
