La Peña Caverns Excursion
We'll meet at the designated time on Calle 32 in Guatapé. From there, we'll travel to the caverns of La Peña, located just half an hour away.
Upon arrival at the entrance of the caves, we'll put on our helmets and enter these caves located 100 meters (328 feet) deep. This tour will last 90 minutes, during which we will learn about the caves' geological origins and observe the various types of rocks and minerals that form the walls of the galleries.
As we explore the interior, we will also learn about legends associated with the caves, believed to have been known to the Indigenous Peoples of this region of South America.
After visiting the caves, we will return to Guatapé, with a scheduled arrival at the meeting point four hours after pickup.
