San Rafael Coffee Tour

In this coffee tour in San Rafael, we'll visit a coffee farm to learn how this product is produced.

Description

At the specified time, we'll meet at Calle 32 in Guatapé and proceed to a coffee farm in the San Rafael area.

Upon arrival, we will walk the 5-kilometre trail (3.1 miles) to the farm. We will be welcomed with a drink before starting the tour. The tour will cover the entire process of producing Colombian coffee.

We will visit the coffee plantation to observe the cultivation of coffee plants. We will spend about 20 minutes on the harvesting process and have the opportunity to pick coffee beans ourselves.

The process continues with washing, drying, roasting, followed by the threshing process and then grinding. The resulting coffee powder will be packaged, and we will use some to prepare a coffee-based drink, which will be tasted at the end.

Finally, we will return to the vehicle, which will take us back to Guatapé, with arrival scheduled 4 hours after pickup.
