Isla Catalina Day Trip & Snorkelling

Discover the incredible biodiversity of the Caribbean on this day trip by snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters of Isla Catalina and seeing its colourful coral reefs.

Day Trip Details

After picking you up from your hotel in Juan Dolio at the scheduled time, we will take a minibus to the port of La Romana, where we will set sail for Isla Catalina. During the trip on the motor catamaran, enjoy water, juices, soft drinks, rum, and beer.

Upon reaching this protected island, part of the Cotubanamá National Park, we will don our snorkelling gear to explore The Wall coral reef, home to a variety of exotic fish and algae.

Afterward, we will visit Isla Catalina Beach, where you will have free time to enjoy the sandbank, relax by the sea, and swim. Drinks will also be available.

A buffet lunch featuring traditional Dominican food will be served. After lunch, you can relax in the shade of coconut trees or sunbathe.

Finally, we will return to the mainland and take you back to your hotels in Juan Dolio, where we will arrive 9 to 10 hours after the initial pickup.
