Discover the incredible biodiversity of the Caribbean on this day trip by snorkelling in the waters of Isla Catalina and seeing its coral reefs.
Day Trip Details
After picking you up from your hotel in Juan Dolio at the scheduled time, we will take a minibus to the port of La Romana, where we will set sail for Isla Catalina. During the trip on the motor catamaran, you can enjoy entertainment on board and have access to water, juices, soft drinks, rum, and beer.
Upon arrival at this protected island, part of the Cotubanamá National Park, we will put on our snorkelling gear to explore the sea. Exotic fish and algae can be seen at The Wall coral reef, showcasing the marine biodiversity of Catalina Island.
After snorkelling, we will visit Isla Catalina Beach, where you'll have free time to relax, swim, and enjoy an assortment of drinks.
A buffet lunch featuring traditional Dominican food will be provided. Following lunch, you will have time to relax in the shade or sunbathe.
Finally, we will return to the mainland and take you back to the hotels in Juan Dolio, arriving 9 to 10 hours after the initial pickup.
