La Romana & Altos de Chavón Tour

At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel. Once on the bus, we'll set off on around a two hour drive to the Chavón River.

On arrival, we'll board a boat for a 40-minute cruise on the river, admiring the natural landscapes and the village of Altos de Chavón.

After the boat trip, we'll explore Altos de Chavón, walk through its streets, visit the amphitheatre, and tour a cigar factory to learn about Dominican tobacco.

Later, we'll proceed to La Romana, where we will see the church, the municipal market, and visit two shopping centres: Columbus Plaza and Jumbo, allowing time for shopping.

The excursion will conclude with arrival back at your hotel in Juan Dolio after 6 hours of activity.
