La Romana & Altos de Chavón Tour

At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel. We'll set off on around a two hour drive to the Chavón River.

On arrival, we'll board a boat for a 40-minute cruise on the river. During this time, we'll admire the natural landscapes and see the charming village of Altos de Chavón in the distance.

After the boat trip, we'll explore Altos de Chavón, walking through its streets and visiting the amphitheatre of this reconstructed Mediterranean village. We'll also visit a cigar factory to learn about Dominican tobacco.

Later, we'll head towards La Romana to see the church, the municipal market, and visit two shopping centres: Columbus Plaza and Jumbo, where you'll have time for shopping.

We'll conclude the excursion with arrival back at your hotel in Juan Dolio after 6 hours of activity.
