Cerro Blanco Forest Day Trip

The trip begins at 5:15 am at Avenida Presidente Isidro Ayora, near Guayaquil airport, where we will board a minibus to the Cerro Blanco Protected Forest. The ride lasts approximately 25 minutes.

Upon arrival, we will explore the forest to learn about various tropical plant species and identify different timber trees, including guayacanes and peniches.

Following the Howler Monkey trail, we will observe numerous exotic birds, with over 240 species recorded. The forest is specially protected due to both its flora and the nine endangered bird species that reside there.

During the trek, you will also see native Ecuadorian animals, such as iguanas.

After the guided tour, we will return to the vehicle and drop you off at the starting point by approximately 12:15 pm.
