Cerro Blanco Forest Day Trip
At 5:15 am, we will meet at Avenida Presidente Isidro Ayora, near Guayaquil airport, and board a minibus for a 25-minute journey to the Cerro Blanco Protected Forest.
Upon arrival, we will walk through the forest to learn about various species of tropical plants and distinguish types of timber trees, including guayacanes and peniches.
We will follow the Howler Monkey trail, observing over 240 species of exotic birds. The forest is specially protected due to its flora and nine endangered bird species.
During the walk, you may also encounter other Ecuadorian animals such as iguanas.
After the guided tour, we will return to the vehicle and drop you off at the starting point around 12:15 pm.
Tour with lunch
For an extended experience, you can opt for a lunch tour, which includes a chicken soup and rice and meat stew, ideal for recharging after the forest walk.
