Guayaquil Botanical Gardens Tour
After hotel pickup, we will head to the Botanical Garden of Guayaquil, one of the largest in Ecuador, spanning five hectares.
During the tour, we will explore various types of tropical trees, including the guayacán used for wood manufacturing. Participants will learn to identify various exotic plants within the park's ecosystem, highlighting native species like tillandsias and bromeliads. Visitors will discover the reasons behind the bright colors of their flowers.
The garden also features a significant collection of orchids from Ecuador and other Latin American countries, as well as other regions worldwide.
Additionally, the guided tour includes observation of diverse tropical wildlife, including Ecuadorian butterflies that feed on the park's floral nectar.
At the end of the tour, transportation back to the hotel will be provided.
