After being picked up from your hotel, you will head into the heart of Guayaquil. The first stop will be at Parque Seminario, also known as "Simón Bolívar Park" and "Iguana Park", where you can admire the garden and lake. The Neo-Gothic Metropolitan Cathedral serves as a backdrop to this space, which is populated by exotic iguanas.
You will then walk along Malecón 2000, the riverside boardwalk that features important monuments, museums, gardens, piers, and viewpoints. This area has become a popular visit in Guayaquil.
Next, you will reach the Rotonda, the monument to the liberators of South America, and learn about the "Guayaquil Conference" that occurred in 1822. After that, explore the Las Peñas district, known for its colonial architecture and colorful wooden houses.
The tour concludes with a climb up Santa Ana Hill. From the viewpoint of La Polvorosa fortress, you will enjoy panoramic views of the city and the Guayas River.
At the end of your tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel.
