Quilotoa Trip
We will pick you up at 2 am in Guayaquil and board a minibus to Quilotoa, in the province of Cotopaxi. This region showcases incredible natural beauty shaped by volcanic activity. The caldera will leave you speechless.
Crossing the Toachi canyon, we will arrive at one of the most impressive lakes of the Andes. The Quilotoa lagoon, approximately 2 miles in diameter, was formed by a volcanic eruption over eight centuries ago. This landscape is now a natural jewel of Ecuador.
After enjoying the lagoon from various viewpoints, we will visit the Shalala viewpoint for a stunning panorama. Remember to bring your camera! We will provide information about the geology of the area.
On the return, we will stop by the Toachi River for views of the picturesque pine forest. Afterward, we will return to Guayaquil, arriving at 8 pm.
