Quilotoa Adventure

Your journey begins with a 2 am pickup in Guayaquil, from where we will travel by minibus to Quilotoa, located in the Cotopaxi province. This stunning locale showcases the remarkable beauty resulting from its volcanic heritage in northern Ecuador. The view of the caldera is simply mesmerizing!

As we traverse the Toachi canyon, we will arrive at one of the most remarkable lakes in the Andes. Quilotoa lagoon, approximately 2 miles in diameter, was created by a volcanic eruption over 800 years ago. Today, it stands as a natural treasure of Ecuador.

After marveling at the lagoon from multiple viewpoints, we will proceed to the Shalala viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views. Don’t forget your camera! Here, we will take the opportunity to share insights into the region’s geology.

On our return leg, we will pause at the Toachi River to admire the picturesque pine forest. We will then continue back to Guayaquil, arriving around 8 pm.

Tour with Meal Option

When booking, you have the option to include a traditional lunch in Quilotoa. This meal will feature delicious potato locro, grilled pork chop or chicken, alongside rice, salad, and a refreshing tropical fruit juice.
