Quilotoa Trip

We will pick you up at 2 am in Guayaquil and board a minibus to Quilotoa, in the province of Cotopaxi. This region is notable for its volcanic landscape. The caldera offers breathtaking views.

Crossing the Toachi canyon, we will reach one of the most impressive lakes of the Andes. The Quilotoa lagoon, approximately 2 miles in diameter, was created by a volcanic eruption over eight centuries ago, presenting a unique natural landscape.

After viewing the lagoon from multiple perspectives, we will visit the Shalala viewpoint for a remarkable panorama. Remember to bring your camera, as we will share insights about the area's geology.

On the return journey, we will stop at the Toachi River to admire the scenic pine forest. We will continue the trip back to Guayaquil, arriving by 8 pm.

Tour with meal

When booking, you may opt for a traditional lunch in Quilotoa. The menu includes potato locro, grilled chop or chicken, rice, salad, and tropical fruit juice.
