Excursion to Puerto El Morro with Dolphin Sightseeing

At the scheduled time, our team will meet you at Isidro Ayora Cueva Avenue and set off southward to Puerto El Morro, a tranquil mangrove region located just 90 minutes from Guayaquil.

Upon arrival, we will board our vessels for an exploration of this protected expanse spanning over 10,000 hectares. Throughout the journey, we will share insights into the remarkable biodiversity that surrounds us. Among the fascinating bird species you may observe in El Morro are frigates, pelicans, and rosy herons.

During our boat ride through the mangroves, you will encounter the renowned bottlenose dolphins. You'll learn the origin of their distinctive name as it’s common for groups of dolphins to swim alongside the boats, offering you a chance to see these incredible marine mammals up close.

Following the boat tour, we will return to shore to savor a delicious local lunch in Puerto El Morro. The meal typically features ceviche, rice with sliced fish, and a refreshing beverage or similar option.

Once you’re reenergized, you’ll have some leisure time to explore the craft shops of Puerto El Morro. Finally, we will make our way back to Guayaquil, aiming to return approximately 8 hours after the pickup.
