At the scheduled time, we will meet at Piazza dei Quaranta Martiri, 40. Our experience in one of the oldest jewels of the Italian peninsula will then commence.

Gubbio is rich in monuments that reflect its past. Among these is the iconic Eugubine Tables, located at the Civic Museum of the Palazzo dei Consoli. These seven bronze plates, found in the 15th century, include inscriptions dating back to the 1st century BC.

Other significant sites include the Roman Theatre, located just outside the city walls, and the Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo, perched atop Mount Ingino. This site houses the remains of Gubbio's patron saint, who played a crucial role in the city's defenses.

Your guide will present Gubbio's architecture that exemplifies 13th and 14th-century society. Highlights include the Palazzo del Podestà, the current municipality seat and a former emblem of power and nobility.

Additionally, you will visit the Public Gardens for relaxation and explore the Piazza Quaranta Martiri, a historical market site in the lower part of the town.
