Boat Trip to Granadilla
At the scheduled time, proceed to the Centro Internacional de Innovación Deportiva-El Anillo to board a boat for a journey on the Gabriel y Galán Reservoir.
Enjoy the surrounding scenery and look for local bird species during the 30-minute boat trip to Granadilla.
Once there, you will have 2.5 hours to explore this medieval walled village independently. Granadilla, a ghost town, was featured in the Spanish film Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down! directed by Pedro Almódovar and starred Antonio Banderas.
The town was deserted in the mid-20th century due to a flood warning linked to reservoir construction. You can visit various significant sites, including the town hall, the Church of the Assumption, and Granadilla Castle, which dates to the 15th century.
After your exploration, return to the boat for the journey back to the starting location, culminating in a total adventure time of 3.5 hours.
