At the indicated time, we'll start this guided tour of Guimarães outside the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza.

From here, we'll walk towards the Guimarães Castle, immersing ourselves in the city's medieval past. We'll discuss its founding in the 10th century and its significance in Portugal's history. We'll walk its walls and reach the highest point for views of the area.

After exploring the castle, we'll return to the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza, where the House of Braganza resided. We'll explore the rooms filled with original furniture and tapestries while discussing the family's role in the history of Guimarães and Portugal.

Next, we'll stroll through the historical centre, navigating its narrow streets, squares, and cafés. We will then visit a winery in the centre for a tasting of Vinho Verde wine.

After this tasting, the tour concludes at the Largo República de Brasil after a total duration of 3.5 hours.
