Description

At the time indicated, we'll meet at Paço dos Duques de Bragança. Here, we'll start an original tour in Guimarães and learn about the history of this city in a tuk tuk.

As we cross the Colina Sagrada towards Mumadona Diaz Square, we'll learn about the founding of Portugal and its first king.

Our tuk tuk route will continue down Avenida Largo da República do Brasil to arrive at the Nossa Senhora da Consolação e Santos Passos Church. After visiting this temple, we'll see the São Francisco Church, learning about its monastery and its connection with the Franciscan movement.

The tuk tuk will also take us to the historic centre of Guimarães, where we will enjoy its medieval-style buildings and cross Santiago Square.
