Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Paço dos Duques de Bragança. Here, we'll board a tuk tuk to start an original tour in Guimarães, learning about the city's history.

As we cross the Colina Sagrada towards Mumadona Diaz Square, we'll discuss the founding of Portugal and its first king.

Next, our tuk tuk route will proceed down Avenida Largo da República do Brasil to the Nossa Senhora da Consolação e Santos Passos Church. Following this visit, we'll see the São Francisco Church and learn about its monastery and ties to the Franciscan movement in Guimarães.

We will also visit the historic centre of Guimarães, renowned for its medieval-style buildings, and we will cross Santiago Square.
