Description

At the time indicated, we'll meet at Paço dos Duques de Bragança. Here, we'll be waiting in a tuk tuk to start an original tour in Guimarães and learn about the history of this city.

As we cross the Colina Sagrada towards Mumadona Diaz Square, we'll learn about the founding of Portugal and its first king.

Then, our tuk tuk route will continue down Avenida Largo da República do Brasil to arrive at the Nossa Senhora da Consolação e Santos Passos Church. After seeing this temple, we'll spot the São Francisco Church and learn facts about its monastery and its connection with the Franciscan movement and Guimarães.

The tuk tuk will also take us to the historic centre of Guimarães, where we'll enjoy its medieval-style buildings and cross Santiago Square.

We'll end this 40 minutes tour in Oliveira Square. See you again soon!
