Portia Wine Cellar Tour
At the agreed time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Portia winery, located just outside of Gumiel de Izán.
The journey will commence at this winery in Burgos, known for its avant-garde architecture. We will observe the distinctive three-petal shaped building, designed by Norman Foster, which serves as an emblem of the Ribera del Duero.
Accompanied by our oenology expert guide, we will explore the various rooms of the winery and learn about the wine-making process of Portia wines, including the types of grapes and the barrels used. This one and a half-hour visit will enhance your understanding of how some of the world's leading wines are produced.
To conclude the tour, we will enjoy a guided tasting of three wines accompanied by an aperitif (savory in the morning and sweet in the afternoon).
