Shore Excursion to Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee

We will meet at the Haifa cruise port at the established time and travel by bus to Nazareth. The journey takes about an hour.

Our first stop will be the Church of the Annunciation, the site where the archangel Gabriel is said to have announced to Mary that she would bear Jesus. We will then visit the church of St. Joseph, where a 1st-century grotto is located, believed to be Joseph's carpenter workshop, along with Mary's well.

Next, we will proceed to the Mount of Beatitudes, thought to be where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. We will visit the temple on this site. Following this, we will visit the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish, which commemorates a miracle of Jesus and is modeled after a historic church.

We will drive to the Sea of Galilee to explore Capernaum, an ancient fishing town and potential home of Saint Peter. You will have an hour for lunch before heading to Yardenit, where there is an option for baptism in the Jordan River, a significant location in Christianity.

After a nine-hour tour, we will return you to the cruise port.
