On this Halifax and Peggy's Cove Tour, we'll visit the most emblematic places of the capital of Nova Scotia and one of Canada's most photographed lighthouses.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Halifax and embark on a tour of Nova Scotia's capital city and its iconic sights.
Before visiting the city, we'll head to the picturesque fishing village of Peggy's Cove, located less than an hour from Halifax. Along the way, we'll share interesting facts about the area, including a plane crash that occurred there in 1998.
In Peggy's Cove, you can take a photo with its famous lighthouse, considered one of the most beautiful in Canada, and enjoy free time to explore the town. We recommend visiting the local shops and relaxing on the boardwalk with views of the Atlantic Ocean.
After Peggy's Cove, we'll return to Halifax to visit Citadel Hill, where you'll learn about its military history and see a re-enactment of the Highlanders, Scottish settlers in 19th-century uniforms.
Next, we'll continue our tour of downtown Halifax by car, passing highlights such as the Titanic Cemetery, City Gardens, Pier 21, Halifax Farmers Market, and Point Pleasant Park.
After 4 hours of activity, we'll conclude the tour and return to the starting point.
