Hamburg Bike Tour
We'll meet at 15 b Hopfenstraße in Hamburg at 2:30 pm. From there we'll set off on a 13-kilometre bike tour.
We'll cycle through the district of St. Pauli, known for the Reeperbahn and its cultural relevance. Then we'll cycle to the landing bridges for panoramic views of the harbour and the canals of the river Elbe.
Next, we'll arrive at St. Michael's Church, an important Lutheran basilica in the city, with a baroque copper tower. The composer Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach is buried in this church.
We'll cycle around part of the artificial Alster Lake to Hamburg's town hall, a neo-Renaissance building. The tour continues along the Jungfernstieg promenade, the Speicherstadt warehouse district, and HafenCity, an ambitious urban development project.
The tour will end at the meeting point between 5:30 and 6 pm.
