The city of Hamburg hides a turbulent past. Get into the dungeon's old lift and prepare to travel back through 600 years of terrifying history.

Once the lift doors close, there's no going back. The worst episodes in the history of Hamburg will be brought to life, and you'll be a part of them. Will you be able to escape the havoc of the plague or the terror of the great fire of 1842? What about the 18th-century methods of torture?

You can also try to escape the labyrinth. The mirrors may make you lose your way, so be prepared!

For an hour and a half, you'll witness special effects, dedicated actors, and precise decoration, resulting in a unique experience.

Language

The show and interactions are primarily in German, except on Saturday and Sunday at 10 am when there is an English version. If you cannot attend during those times and don’t speak German, the special effects and atmosphere are still worth experiencing.

Hamburg Dungeon is open every day of the year, except on December 24 and 25, from 10 am to 5 pm.
