Description

Day 1: Hammamet - El Djem - Matmata - Douz

The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Hammamet. The first stop is El Djem, famous for its Roman amphitheater, a significant relic of the Ancient Roman Empire. After exploring El Djem, we proceed to Matmata, known for its troglodyte houses created by Amazigh families and featured in Star Wars.

After lunch, we head to the Douz desert, where you can see the sand dunes and optionally take a camel ride. The day concludes with dinner and overnight accommodation in Douz.

Day 2: Douz - Chott El Djerid - Tozeur

Following breakfast in Douz, we travel to Chott El Djerid, a notable salt lake where we'll discuss its unique optical illusions. Next, we visit Tozeur for lunch and embark on a guided tour of the Medina, observing its brick architecture, the city's largest mosque, and the local market.

The day ends with dinner and overnight accommodation in Tozeur.

Day 3: Tozeur - Kairouan - Hammamet

On the final day, we have breakfast in Tozeur before heading to Kairouan, one of Tunisia's oldest cities. We will visit the historic Sidi Sahbi Mosque and wander through Kairouan's Medina, exploring its history and vibrant souks.

After lunch in Kairouan, we return to your hotel in Hammamet around 6 pm.
