Description
Day 1: El Djem – Matmata – Douz
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Hammamet and head to the El Djem amphitheater, the third-largest amphitheater in the world, which could hold up to 30,000 spectators. After an overview of ancient gladiator stories, we will proceed to the Matmata cave-houses in the Amazigh area, where you’ll have approximately one hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant (not included).
The tour continues into the Douz desert, the gateway to the Sahara. Here, you can opt for a quad bike or camel ride at an additional fee. After the desert adventure, we will check into a hotel in Douz for the night.
Day 2: Douz – Chott Djerid – Oasis - Kairouan
After breakfast (not included), we will visit Chott El Djerid, Tunisia's great salt lake, stretching 250 kilometers from east to west. Next, we will travel to the mountain oasis of Chebika and Tamerza. The final destination will be Kairouan, Islam's fourth holy city, where we will visit the Great Mosque. The tour concludes with your return to your hotel in Hammamet.

Tickets for museums and monuments must be paid at the ticket office, totaling around 15EUR.Camel ride (one hour) costs 15EUR per person; quad ride (45 minutes) costs 25EUR per person.
