Tour Details
After hotel pickup, we'll start our tour at the Leifeng Pagoda, linked to the Legend of the White Snake. This eight-sided five-storey temple, built in 975 AD, will take about an hour and a half to explore. Next, we will visit the National China Silk Museum to learn about silk production over the last 5000 years and the significance of the Silk Road.
At midday, we'll pause for lunch at a local restaurant (meal not included). After lunch, we will continue to the former residence of Hu Xueyan, showcasing the lifestyle of the wealthy during the Qing Dynasty and the Zhiyuan Garden, which contains the largest man-made cave in China.
Our final stop will be Qinghefang Street, the city's historic shopping area, where we will explore for an hour. Visitors can purchase local snacks or visit the Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine to learn about herbal treatments.
After 8 hours, we will return you to your hotel.
