Casablanca Neighborhood Free Tour

On this free tour through the Casablanca neighborhood, we'll see the castle of the Three Kings of Morro and the fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña, where you'll be able to attend the Havana cannon shooting ceremony.

Description

We'll begin this free tour at Aracelio Iglesias Park, meeting at the designated time next to the ferry terminal. Instead of the original boat ride, we'll start with a bus trip. After traveling, we'll arrive at the Casablanca pier and begin our tour by admiring the Christ of Havana and the Comandancia del Che.

Next, we will visit the Military History Museum, where we will see the wreckage of a U.S. Air Force plane from the October 1962 missile crisis. Adjacent to the museum is the fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña, dating back to the 18th century.

Our next stop will be the castle of the Three Kings of Morro, a significant stronghold during the Spanish colonial era. We will conclude our tour here at 8 pm.

After the tour, we recommend staying in the area to witness Havana's cañonazo ceremony, held daily at 9 pm at the fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña.
