On this free tour through the Casablanca neighborhood, we'll see the castle of the Three Kings of Morro and the fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña, where you'll attend the Havana cannon shooting ceremony.

Description

We'll begin this free tour at Aracelio Iglesias Park, meeting next to the ferry terminal. The tour begins with a 10-minute ferry ride on the Lanchita de Regla to the Casablanca pier in the Regla district. Our first stop will be at the Christ of Havana, near the Comandancia del Che, where Ernesto Guevara stayed post-revolution.

The tour continues at the Military History Museum, featuring the wreckage of a U.S. Air Force plane from the 1962 missile crisis. Next, we visit the fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña, dating back to the 18th century.

Our final destination is the castle of the Three Kings of Morro, significant during the Spanish colonial era. The tour concludes at 8 pm by the Morro lighthouse. We recommend remaining in the area to experience the cañonazo ceremony at the fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña, which occurs daily at 9 pm.

Regla Boat

Temporarily, the tour does not include the trip in the Lanchita de Regla. We will instead use a bus for the first part of the journey.
