Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Havana at the designated time to set off toward Las Terrazas, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Here, we will explore an idyllic retreat linked to Cuban musician Polo Montañés.

Following this, we'll visit Cafetal Buenavista to learn about Cuban coffee production and the historical context of enslaved Africans in the region. During this segment, you will enjoy scenery from the Sierra del Rosario.

We will then head to Viñales, making our first stop at the Los Jazmines Viewpoint for sights of the mogotes and surrounding nature, including the notable Hotel Horizontes Los Jazmines.

Next, we will visit the Mural of Prehistory, measuring 393 feet (120 meters) tall, for photo opportunities. A stop at a farmer's house will follow, where you can taste an authentic Cuban lunch.

After lunch, we will tour a tobacco plantation to learn how artisanal cigars are made. Our final stop will be the Cueva de San Miguel, revealing the secrets of Viñales and discussing ancient traditions of the cimarrones.

After this 10-12 hour trip, we will conclude the activity at your hotel in Havana.
